DHAKA: Rubaba Dowla has joined Warid Telecom as Chief Customer Service Officer, with her vast experience in the field of mobile-phone marketing.
After joining the UAE-based company Thursday, she told reporters that she took much pleasure in taking up a job again in a mobile-phone company.
“I am happy that I can stay connected with innumerable mobile customers,” said Rubaba, who had earlier served as chief marketing and chief communications officer of mobile-kingpin GrameenPhone.
She left GrameenPhone towards the end of 2009.
