DHAKA: The Fourteenth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited held Tuesday at Basundhara Convention Centre in the capital.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank M Nazrul Islam Mazumder presided over the meeting.

Financial statements including Balance sheet, Profit and Loss account for the year ended December 31, 2012 was received and adopted in the 14th Annual General Meeting and declared 10% stock dividend.  

Members of the Board of Directors Mohammad Abdullah, M Habibullah Dawn, M Nurul Amin, Mohammed Omar Farooque Bhuiyan, Mohammed Shahidullah, Major (retd) Khandaker Nurul Afser, Lt Col (retd) Serajul Islam, Ranjan Chowdhury, Khandaker Mohammed Saiful Alam, Independent Director Muhammad Sekandar Khan, Managing Director Dr Mohammed Haider Ali Miah, Adviser to the Bank M Fariduddin Ahmad and Company Secretary M Golam Mahbub were present at the meeting.      

The Chairman of the Board of Directors M Nazrul Islam Mazumder provided with relevant and satisfactory answers against all the queries raised by the shareholders.

A large number of shareholders attended the meeting and expressed their highest satisfaction to the achievement of the bank during the year and put their valuable suggestion and comments for better performance of the bank in future.
