DHAKA: Investors witnessed negligible gain in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.
The DSE general index rose over 45 points to stand at 4,123 at the close on the first trading day of the week.
The volume of transactions stood Tk 1,42,339 million with 5,905 trade deals.
Of the issues traded, 198 advanced, 77 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 206 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were ACTIVEFINE, RNSPIN, GP, HEIDELBCEM, MPETROLEUM, CVOPRL, OLYMPIC, PADMAOIL and EHL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,038 by gaining over 105 points.
Out of the issues traded, 147 gained, 64 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
