RAJSHAHI: A case was field against seven people, including Manager and Assistant Manager of Jamuna Bank Rajshahi Branch, for alleged involvement in forging Tk 4 crore.
Robiul Islam, owner of Ripa enterprise, filed the case with Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Saturday.
According to the case, Branch Manager Monjurul Ahsan Shah and Assistant Manager Anup Kumar along with four other officials forged Tk 4 crore from the Bank by counterfeiting plaintiff Robiul’s signature and using the name of his enterprise.
Later, the plaintiff got noticed by the bank ordering to repayment and termed the money as loan taken by his enterprise.
The court asked Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Thana to submit the investigation report.
