US unemployment rate down in Sept

DHAKA: The US jobless rate fell to 7.2 percent in September.

The Labor Department reported on Tuesday, reports The Straits Times.

The economy generated a less-than-expected 148,000 jobs during the month, they said after the three-week delay to the report due to the shutdown.
