DHAKA: Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed on Tuesday said two top leaders of Awami League and BNP should reach in consensus for the sake of country’s economy.
The president of the organization came up with the assertion at a press conference after an emergency meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
The FBCCI boss said the businesspersons of don’t support army rule. “To bring the solution from crisis it needs proper dialogue,” he said.
The FBCCI sent a letter to Prime Minister and BNP chairperson urging dialogue. “The shutdown hinders country’s business and economic activities,” he said.
Kazi Akram also applauded Hasina’s phone to Khaleda Zia for solution.
FBCCI former President Haji Akram Hossain, Salman F Rahman, Anisul Haque and AK Azad were among others present in the press conference.
