DHAKA: The final result of the 33rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination has been published on Thursday noon qualifying candidates for various government cadre services.
Public Service Commission (PSC) acting public relations officer Helena Begum confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The public service commission recommended 8,529 candidates to be appointed in different cadres of government.
A total of 18,693 candidates were selected for viva-voce after the written examinations which was held in between May to June, 2013.

PSC published a notice for 4,206 vacant posts of 33rd BCS of February 29, 2013.
On June 1, 2013, the preliminary exam was held and the result published on June 28 where 28, 917 qualified.
