Students of the sixth and seventh grades will not face any conventional examinations or model tests, according to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE).
Besides, the students of these two classes will be evaluated as per the guidelines of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).
A notification signed by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education was issued on Monday in this regard.
DSHE also said the students of the sixth and seventh grades of the secondary level must be taught following the guidelines prepared by the NCTB in terms of teaching and assessment activities under the new curriculum.
Earlier in February this year, the government directed the NCTB authorities to withdraw two textbooks for sixth and seventh grades amid controversy.
