Authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have restricted the entry of outsiders into the campus.

They announce this through loudspeakers inside the campus on Tuesday (Mar 14).

Proctor Prof Dr Shahadat Hossain Azad confirmed the matter.

He said the entry of outsiders to the campus has been strictly prohibited till further notice for the sake of the university's security.

On Monday (March 13), two students of the university were allegedly attacked by locals. Protesting the incident, agitated students blocked the Kushtia-Jhenidah highway from 6:30pm to 10pm.
