The education minister Dipu Moni on Sunday (April 30) said that there is no scope of leaking question papers in the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations.
She made the remark during her visit to an examination centre at Badda High School in the capital.
Dipu Moni also said that stern actions will be taken in cases of spreading rumours.
The ministry is monitoring the social media continuously to prevent spreading of rumours of question leakage, she added.
The SSC and its equivalent examinations began on Sunday across the country.
The number of the SSC and equivalent examinees this year is 20,72,163, examination centres is 3,810 and educational institutions is 29,798.
The theoretical parts of the examinations will end by May 25 and the practical parts by June 4.
