Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations under eight education boards of the country will begin in the country on Thursday (August 17).
On the first day of the exams, Bangla first paper will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
A total of 13,59,342 students have registered for the HSC and equivalent exams. Among them, 6,88,887 are boys and 6,70,455 are girls.
The HSC exams under 11 education boards were supposed to commence across the country on Thursday (August 17).
However, the examinations of the three boards were shifted from August 17 to August 27 due to flooding in five districts of Chattogram division.
A total 11,08,594 students will sit for HSC exams under 9 general education boards, 98,031 for Dakhil under Madrasah and 1,52,717 for vocational tests under the technical education board.
To appear in the exams, a total of 13 lakh 59 thousand 342 students filled the forms to appear the exams.
