Dhaka University (DU) authorities on Sunday (April 21) decided to hold classes online amid heatwave.
The decision was disclosed through a press release from the university's Office of the Public Relations.
According to the press release, online classes will be held until further notice to avoid health risks due to the severe heatwave sweeping over the country.
However, the examinations will be held as usual.
On Saturday, the government decided to keep all schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical education institutions across the country closed from 21 April to 27 April due to heatwave.
