DHAKA: A daylong workshop on Basic Digital Photography was held at State University of Bangladesh (SUB) on Wednesday.
The Department of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies of the university and SkillTree, a professional development institute, organized the workshop.
Quazi Rownaq Hossain, teacher of Mass Communication and Journalism of University of Dhaka, conducted the session.
Renowned photographer and Senior Vice-President, National Press Club, Quazi Rownaq Hossain conducted the workshop as the key facilitator.
Mahmud Zaman Ovi, Senior Photojournalist of the weekly Batayon and M Humayun Ahmed, a freelance photojournalist conducted the hands-on session.
It is worth mention that SkillTree is offering around 20 of their professional skill development courses at the universities at a very nominal cost deducted up to 60 percent for their students only. The workshop at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB) was the very first of this initiative, it added.
