Self-Financing Scheme for Study in India

DHAKA: The Government of India invites applications from eligible Bangladeshi national students for admission to the following courses in India under Self-Financing Scheme for the academic session 2014-15.      

Courses are MBBS/BDS, B.E /Diploma in Engineering and B. Pharmacy/Diploma in Pharmacy.    

Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 50 percent marks in English in the qualifying examination as well as 60 percent marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (in case of B.E/Diploma in Engineering) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology i.e. Botany & Zoology (in case of MBBS/BDS/B. Pharmacy/ Diploma in Pharmacy).
   
The application forms and instructions are available at www.hcidhaka.gov.in                                                     

Candidates will have to submit four complete sets of the duly filled-in application form along with copies of necessary certificates/documents attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and High Commission of India on any working day (Sunday-Thursday) from 12:00pm to 4:00pm within April 5-17, at Education Wing, High Commission of India, Gulshan-1, Dhaka.                                                 

Candidates are required to present their original certificates for verification at the time of submission of their application forms in person.    
 
It may be noted that there is a likelihood of admission to these courses not taking place subject to the final decision of an ongoing litigation in the Supreme Court of India.
