DHAKA: Results of School Secondary Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published in this month.
Education ministry has already sent a letter to the Prime Minister to seek the date in publishing the result.
Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid told banglanews that there is an obligation in publishing the results by sixty days after the examinations.
In this situation, the result of SSC and equivalent examinations will be published by May 19.
As a tradition, the education minister along with education board chairmen hand over the result to the premier.
Inter-education board coordination sub-committee chairman and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Taslima Begum told banglanews that they had sent a letter to the education minister on May 5 on the completion of final preparation regarding result publication.
In the letter, they had mentioned May 17 or 18 as a date of result publication.
The education minister said that the result will be published on the day fixed by the premier.
However, the SSC examinations, which began on February 9, were ended on March 22. A total of 14 lakh 32 thousand and 727 students participated in the examinations.
