HSC questions leaked in Proshnobazar

DHAKA: The mathematics question paper for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations matched the leaked questions circulated on popular social networking media Facebook on Saturday night.

The Dhaka Board HSC mathematics examination was held on Sunday amid allegations of the question paper leak in the social media the night before.

Eighteen leaked questions were found same as the original out of 22.

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Dhaka University students showed their protest against the plagiarize staging a human chain at the Central Shaheed Minar.

There are several suggestions and answers of many questions uploaded in the site as well.

The profile picture of the page had "Prashnapatra Phas" (question paper leaked) written on it.

Besides, some students and parents alleged that hand-written copies containing the questions were also available on Saturday, and those were similar to the original question paper.

Refusing the claims the examination controller of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, Professor Dr SM Wahiduzzaman said, “I don’t have any information in this regard”.

The education minister Nurul Islam Nahid cited about the initiative the education ministry on the allegation regarding English second-paper exam.

The education ministry took the matter seriously and postponed the exam and formed an investigation committee.

Besides that, earlier in this year, there were several allegations of leaking question papers.
