Shun war, destruction, go for safe world

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed hope that educated generation would create a safe and secure world for the posterity and development, removing away all the barriers and prejudices like war and destruction. 

The premier was addressing at Waseda University in Tokyo on ‘Education and Empowerment of the Youth’ on Tuesday where President of the Waseda University, distinguished faculty members, scholars and students were present.

Sheikh Hasina urged young generation to work closely together like a family.

The ruling Awami League president also said, “As our lives are also changing and we are facing new challenges, including climate change and natural disasters. So, we have to be prepared.”

She added: “I also see that you are preparing yourselves to meet the new challenges.”

Sheikh Hasina also joined view exchange programme with the students of the university.

Vice President of the university Uchida Katsuichi also spoke.
