DHAKA: An international workshop on high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was held at State University of Bangladesh (SUB) in the city.
SUB vice chancellor professor Dr. Ifterkhar Goni inaugurated the workshop, which was organized by the university’s Pharmacy Department on August 23.
Japanese firm CromaNik Technologies’ senior scientific officer Dr. VD Gaikande Cromanik Technology Japan presented the keynote paper at the workshop.
Gaikande said that this type of initiatives would play role to develop the professionalism of the youth pharmacists in Bangladesh.
SUB registrar Professor AYM Ikram Uddin Dowla, Pharmacy department advisor professor MA Rashid, head of the department Dr Hasina Yasmin and professor Dr. MA Mazid of Pharmacy Department at Dhaka University, among others, were present at the function.
Some 150 graduates from different universities across the country took part the workshop followed by giving certificate to the participants.
