DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has sought more investment in education sector to make modern generation skilled.
The education minister made the plea while attending final episode of UNSPA debate competition in National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM) Auditorium on Sunday.
The competition was organized by Debate for Democracy.
He said, “To make a modern Bangladesh, we need modern generation and to make the generation modern we need knowledge, adept and technology based education system.”
“For this, we need more investment in this sector,” he added.
However, in the debate competition Viqarunnisa Noon School and College made champion.
