CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY: Chittagong University (CU) will go for a 42-day vacation from September 27.

Sources said the university is going to this long vacation prior to Eid-ul-Azha, Durga Puja and university admission test.

However, deputy registrar of the university Engineer Alamgir Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the classes and examinations of all the departments will resume from November 8.

But, he added, the administration will remain closed only from October 1 to 9.

Nevertheless, the first year honours admission test of the university will start from October 27 and will continue till November 6.
