DHAKA: Health Minister Mohammed Nasim on Sunday categorically said some 11 more public medical colleges are going to be started from January next year.
The health minister made the disclosure while talking to journalists at Tangail Circuit House.
He told the journalists that the new medical colleges will start its journey on the occasion of home return day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Nasim also added the much-awaited Tangail Medical College would start on that day.
However, there are a total of 29 public and 57 private medical colleges in the country.
