DHAKA: Results of the first-year admission test for the session 2014-15 in Medical and Dental colleges published on Sunday noon with 34 percent pass rate.

The result was announced in a press conference at Health Directorate auditorium in city.

State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Affairs Zahid Malek said some 66,987 candidates appeared in the examination where some 22,759 students became successful this year.

According to the health ministry, there are some 3,162 seats in 29 public medical colleges while some 5,325 seats in 56 private medical colleges

Besides, there are some 532 seats in nine public dental colleges while some 1,280 seats in 23 private dental institutions.
