DHAKA: The High Court Monday asked to stop charging extra fees from Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees for form fill-up.
Justice Kazi Rezaul Haq and Justice Abu Taher passed the suo-moto order after national daily published news saying schools are charging students seven to ten times more for form fill-up.
The court also issued a rule asking to explain within four weeks about why this extra charging should not be declared illegal.
Education secretary and authorities concerned have been made respondents to the rule.
