RANGPUR: Six more teachers of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) have resigned from their respective administration posts on Monday as their demands of promotion paid unheeded.
Earlier, some 19 teachers also quitted from the administration posts with the same demand.
However, sources told banglanews that the newly resigned teachers submitted their resignation letters to the university registrar Morshed Ul Alam.
The teachers are syndicate member Dr Sarifa Salwa Dina, finance committee members Dr Saidul Haque and Mohammad Rafiul Azam Khan and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall assistant Provost Dr Shafiqur Rahman, Mohammad Azizur Rahman and Shariful Islam.
Rokeya University public relations officer Mohammad Ali confirmed the matter.
