DHAKA: Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque on Saturday categorically said the names of war criminals and their crime activities would be inserted in the text books.

He further said questions would be set for 100 marks in the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

The minister made the disclosure while addressing a discussion meeting at Jatiya Press Club in the evening.

He said, “Recently, we have taken two decisions, one is to insert names of war criminals and their misdeeds in the school text books and the other is, taking exam of 100 marks on liberation war in BCS examination.”

This will help the new generation to know the misdeeds by the collaborators, he added.

Noted columnist Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury presided over the meeting jointly organised by ‘Bangladesh Nari Sangbadik Kendra’ and ‘Rising Path of War Heroines’.

Speakers, in the meeting, called for providing social and state acknowledgement and benefits like freedom fighters to ‘Biranganas (war heroines)’ of the country.
