DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has advised to take Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations on Fridays and Saturdays rescheduling the existing routine.
The premier made the remarks while visiting ministry for religious affairs on Sunday.
Sheikh Hasina said, “Students feel uncertainty as exams are being rescheduled for several times due to hartal of 20-party alliance.”
“We also sat for exams on Fridays and Saturdays in our times. So I told Education Minister to reschedule the exams,” she added.
However BNP-Jamaat might call hartal on holidays as they are not believable and using religion for politics, the premier further added.
Later she urged BNP-Jamaat to stop burning people to death and not to hamper education calling hartal on exam days.
