DHAKA: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for Wednesday were deferred to February 27 (Friday) after the BNP-led 20-party alliance had extended shutdown.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement in a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

The examinations will now be held from 9:00am to 12:00 noon on the day.

Earlier in the day, BNP-led 20-party alliance has extended their ongoing hartal till 6:00am Friday.
