DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid expressed his hope that the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will finish at the end of March amid disruption caused by hartal-blockade.
The results of the exams will be published within 60 days like previous years, he added.
He expressed the optimism while talking to reporters after a meeting with the guardians during visit to the exams center at Mohammadpur Government High School on Saturday morning.
“Results will be announced within 60 days at the end of the exams,” the minster hopes.
The one to two mistakes which were made in Physics exam question paper might hamper the results of students, Nahid opined.
The education minister again urged BNP not to enforce hartal and withdraw blockade during the time.
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will start on April 1, he added.
