DHAKA: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for March 8 and 10 (Sunday and Tuesday) were postponed immediately after the BNP-led 20-party alliance had called fresh 72-hour shutdown.
Deputy chief information officer of education ministry Subodh Chandra Dhali confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The dates of postponed examinations will be announced later, he added.
Earlier in the day, BNP-led 20-party alliance has called fresh countrywide non-stop 72-hour hartal from 6:00am Sunday.
BNP joint secretary general Salah Uddin Ahmed made the hartal announcement through a press release.
