DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Saturday reiterated that there will be no change in the schedules of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations despite hartal and blockade enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
The minister came up with the assertion in a car distribution program among the district education officials and technical school and college principals at Dhaka Residential Model College auditorium in city.
He said that the examinations, to begin from April 1, will follow the published schedule as people deny hartal, sponsored by the BNP-led alliance.
Pointing to the BNP leaders, the minister said that they send their children to study abroad but do not think about the students in the country.
Secondary and higher secondary directorate director general Fahima Khatun and education ministry additional secretary Swapan Kumar, among others, were present at the program.
