DHAKA: The Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) at Mymensingh, Professor Dr. Md Rafiqul Hoque, resigned on Wednesday in face of allegations over corruption and women scandal.
Professor Rafiqul submitted the resignation letter to the Ministry of Education in the afternoon. He himself confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Rafiqul told banglanews that he had resigned due to physical illness and ongoing situation at the campus.
