DHAKA: The college teachers under National University (NU) across the country, henceforth, would receive their remunerations on online for taking examinations and marking answer sheets.
NU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid on Thursday inaugurated the system by giving remunerations to 230 teachers on online for taking examinations and marking answer sheets of honours fourth year.
The university issued a press release regarding the matter that said the initiative was taken so that teachers can receive their remunerations from their respective workplaces within a short period.
According to the new system, no teacher will need to wait in a long queue on NU Gazipur Campus for cheques of their remuneration.
Besides, they will receive confirmation SMS about the money deposited to their respective accounts through online service.
