DHAKA: Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid said the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations is expected to be published on May 30 or 31.

However, the prime minister will fix the date.

The education ministry informed banglanews that the results of SSC and equivalent examinations will be published in the last week of this month.

The SSC and equivalent examinations was scheduled to begin on February 2, but deferred due to hartal, enforced by BNP led 20-party alliance.

A total of 14 lakh 79 thousand 266 students from 27,808 educational institutions participated in the examinations.
