Govt to arrange ‘Int’l Knowledge Fair’

DHAKA: Government will arrange an ‘International Knowledge Fair’ with participation of domestic and foreign educational institutions aiming to exchange knowledge, information and views.

Education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan came up with this assertion in an inter-ministry meeting in secretariat on Sunday.

He said the three-day fair will be organized sometime between October and November in city’s Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) or any other suitable place.

The secretary further said local and international education institutions including schools, colleges and universities will take part in the fair so that their education technology, tools and methods could be shared.

University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman MA Mannan said a total of 30 lakhs students are studying under 120 universities in the country. So, necessary assistance will be provided regarding the fair.

According to Nazrul Islam Khan, the tools, which used for educational system, will also be exhibited there.
