DHAKA: The education ministry has cancelled the ongoing system of appearing in the public examinations without passing the test examinations.

Henceforth, students have to pass in the test examinations alongside confirming at least 70 percent attendance in the classes.

The ministry issued an order in this regard on Monday.

On March 3, education secretary issued a gazette notification saying that 70 percent attendance in the classes will be the main guiding phenomenon for students to take part in the public examinations.
