DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid criticized Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) for making remarks without knowing the preparation and distribution processes of question paper.
He made the remark while publishing results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations on Sunday.
Nahid said, “TIB is such an ignorant to publish report without knowing the process”.
The results of the HSC and equivalent examinations have been published Sunday with an overall pass percentage of 69.60, which is 8.73 percent lower than the previous year.
This year's results also witnessed a fall of GPA-5 scorers, with a total of 42,894 students achieving the highest grade.
