Calculator allowed in BSC exam

DHAKA: Public Service Commission (PSC) on Monday came up with the permission to use calculator in 10 compulsory subjects in the written exams of 35th BCS.

The subjects include: mathematical logic, mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, applied physics, statistics, accounting, computer science, electronics and engineering.

A press release, signed by PSC exam controller (Cadre) AEM Nesar Uddin, was issued in this regard on Monday.

The written examinations will start in September 1 and continue till September 7.

The examination will be held in the centers of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Rangpur, it added.
