DHAKA: The preliminary examination for Assistant Thana Education Officer (ATEO) post under primary education directorate will be held on August 21.

A Public Service Commission (PSC) notification issued on Wednesday said that the 1-hour examination will begin at 10:00am on the day in city.

The notification, signed by PSC examination controller (non-cadre) Sheikh Shakhawat Hossain, further said that no examinee will be allowed to use calculator in the examination.

Earlier on June 29, a PSC circular said that 144 more people will be recruited for the post of assistant Upazila/Thana Education Officer (TEO).
