DHAKA: The authorities have rescheduled MBBS and BDS entry tests under 2015-16 academic session due to upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The tests will now be held on September 18, as the health ministry changed the date on Sunday.
Earlier on Thursday, the ministry had decided to take the tests on October 02 in a meeting chaired by health and family welfare minister Mohammed Nasim at secretariat in city.
According to the Health Directorate’s education department sources, there are 3,162 seats in 29 government medical colleges and 5,325 seats in 64 private medical colleges across the country.
Moreover, a total of 532 seats will also be available in nine government dental colleges and dental units of government colleges while 1,280 seats in 24 private dental colleges for BDS examinations.
