DHAKA: Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Friday opined in favour of changing the system of existing public examinations in the country.
He was addressing the reception program of meritorious students at Sagar-Runi auditorium of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU).
The minister further said that it takes two or three months to take examinations under the existing system.
“Teaching is also disrupted at this time. Besides, some people are regularly leaking question papers,” he added.
He also opined about finding out ways how to shorten the time of taking examinations.
