DHAKA: Chittagong University Economists Forum (CUEF) on Friday organized a post-eid congregation at Shayla Squire Community Center in port city Chittagong.

A good number of former students of CU economics department, among others, attended the daylong program with festive mood.

CUEF convener Dr ANM Mainul Islam delivered welcome speech at the event. Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Professor Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Professor Dr Joyti Prakash Dutta, Professor Syeda Tahera, Professor Dr Irshad Kamal Khan and Professor Dr Mohammad Abul Hossain, among others, also spoke at the program.

The participants announced the journey of CUEF by cutting cake.

A colorful cultural event, performed by the former students, also featured the reunion.
