JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: Jahangirnagar University (JU) Teachers Association has decided to take honors first year admission tests for the session 2015-16.

The association president Professor Khabir Uddin said that they took the decision in a general meeting of the association on Monday noon.

Last Saturday, they decided not to take the entry test demanding refixing the 8th National Pay Scale and a separate pay scale for university teachers.

However, a total of 226,572 candidates have applied against 2,000 seats in the university this year.
