DHAKA: The government has granted selection grade for 1,897 assistant professor-level officers of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) general education.

The education ministry website released a circular on Thursday announcing selection grade benefits for around 1,897 fifth grade BCS officials under National Pay Sclae-2009.

The list of selection grade recipients will be available at the ministry website.

It is mentionable that the new pay scale, scheduled to come into effect on July 1, abolished selection grades.
