DHAKA: The Executive Board of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has granted Category II status to International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) of Dhaka.
The Paris-based UN body took the decision in its 38th Session of General Conference on Saturday after Bangladesh’s proposal in this regard.
Education ministry officials confirmed the matter to banglanews.
