FROM PARLIAMENT: Public administration minister Syed Ashraful Islam said the preliminary test of 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held on January 8 and hoped that the next BCS circular will be published on same month.
The minister came up with this assertion while answering a question of MP Begum Mahzabin Khaled in the parliament on Tuesday.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) is working to publish the result of 35th written examination results and take viva-voce to appoint 1,803 candidates in different cadres, Syed Ashraf added.
According to him, the commission’s final recommendation for appointment will be finalized in April or May.
Moreover, the commission asked the ministries to send the vacant list to appoint 34th BCS non-cadre candidates, who were not recommended due to post shortage.
