DHAKA: The Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee examinations, which are scheduled to be held on Monday (November 23), will be shifted to November 30 due to daylong hartal called by Jamaat-e-Islami.
A reliable source from ministry of primary and mass education informed the development to banglanews on Sunday morning.
The PSC and Ebtedayee examinations have started at 11:00am on Sunday with participation of 32.54 lakh students.
The English test started at 7,052 centers across the country will end at 1:30 pm.
According to PSC and Ebtedayee exams routine, bangla was scheduled to be held on November 23 (Monday).
Jamaat-e-Islami has called a daylong countrywide hartal for Monday as a part of the post-execution protest program of its secretary general and also war criminal Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid.
