DHAKA: Dhaka University Teachers Association (DUTA) decided to take classes on Fridays and Saturdays to overcome the losses created for the teachers’ work abstention.
DUTA president Farid Uddin Ahmed informed the media at Dhaka University Club in city on Wednesday.
He said, ‘We will take classes on Fridays and Saturdays to meet the losses created due to teachers work abstention’.
‘Moreover, all teachers have decided to postpone their protest program,’ he added.
To a question regarding the continuation of work abstention by some of the teachers in several universities, association secretary general Maksud Kamal said that he does not know about this.
