DHAKA: A Bangladeshi student-- Dr Sirajul Islam-- has got the Best Student Award from Zhengzhou Medical College at Henan province of China.

He studied over Gastroenterology and earned the achievement of being the Best Student this year. The award was handed over to him on June 19 for his extra-ordinary performance.  

However, every year hundreds of medical students from around the world go to study over there. And this year the university hoisted the Bangladeshi flag of glory. 

Dr Sirajul raised the Bangladeshi flag while receiving the award. 

Dr Sirajul Islam is resident of Tetultala of Faridpur. His father late Kuddusur Rahman was an official of Engineering Department. 

He dreamed of devoting himself in treating general public after returning to Bangladesh.
