DHAKA: Government has ordered to shut down outer campuses of the country’s private universities and all activities of Darul Ihasan University as well.

Education ministry on Tuesday (July 26) issued the order in line with a High Court verdict.

An education ministry official told banglanews that the private universities were running their activities on outer campuses taking stay order from court.

Later, the ministry, with the permission of HC, asked the private university authorities to close all the outer campuses.
