DHAKA: Results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on Thursday (August 18).
Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid along with board chairmen will handover the result copy to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban at 10.00am on the day.
Later at 1:00pm, he will brief the results at a press briefing at his secretariat office in city.
However, students will get the results from their respective institutions and through mobile SMS and internet.
Students may visit the official website of education board (www.educationboardresult.gov.bd) and their respective board websites for the results.
This year, the examinations were held at 2,452 centers for 8,533 institutions. Moreover, 262 students sat for the examinations at seven centers abroad.
As many as 1,020,109 students participated in HSC examinations under the eight general education boards, 91,591 took part in Alim examinations under Madrasha Board, 102,132 students in Technical Education Board and 4,796 students in Diploma in Business Studies (BIBS).
